He was an escort for some Korean children who were being adopted through the Holt adoption program and I was at the airport as a greeter, caring for the little ones between flights and while the adults went through customs. I don't even remember what we talked about other than Korea and perhaps the daughter I was waiting for but Father Torrey made an impression on me that I have never forgotten. It was surely the Spirit of the Lord upon him. I remember his gentle manner and remember him telling me he was R.A Torrey's grandson. For some reason this evening I thought about Father Torrey and decided to "google" his name and read the story of his passing. Surely he was a well-loved servant of God and a man who loved well. Blessings to all of you his family. What a wonderful legacy God bless.
