When I lost my job in spring of '03 and was still hurting from it in the late summer I spent many hours pouring over its content after first learning of its existence in fall of '02 from Deanna Pierce. For some reason spending time reading and looking at images on the website helped heal me. Ever since I first learned of a holy man named R.A. Torrey back in the late 80's and early 90's who lived up in a mountain in Korea and was reverently referred by some Koreans I met as 'father Torrey', I was intrigued and more so after he responded to couple of my letters. I am a Korean-American. At first I couldn't figure out why someone named Torrey wanted to live up in some mountain in Korea. I learned much since.
